Day 10 - April 2

Our last full day in London ...

This was at another museum, maybe the Tate Britain? I don't remember anything from inside but it's quite lovely outside.

Here we are at a phone booth.  Fun picture.  Do they still use phone booths in London? or are they just for show?

Then we went to Notting Hill.

Beautiful ..

and a kitty ...

I don't remember what store this was (in Notting Hill) but I've seen them here in the US too.

St. Paul's Cathedral (do you see any cybermen?).

A beer at the Shard, I think.

Walking across one of the bridges, with the Tower of London in the distance.

The view from the Duck and Waffle.  Very crowded but we had a drink there, just to say we'd been.

And that was our final day/night in London ...

Day 9 - April 1

Platform 9 3/4 ...

The underground ..

Abbey Road ...

Taking the underground.

High tea ..

Found a blue police box.

Day 8 - March 31

The view from our hotel room - I called it the Days Inn Waterloo, but it's actually the Days Hotel London - Waterloo.  There was a little pub across the street where we ate a few times, The Three Stags.

A couple of pictures I snapped on the way to Lambeth Bridge to cross the Thames.

Big Ben in the background.

The Thames -- I think that's the Eye, on the right.

A circle -- I think I took a picture because of the palm tree.

Outside parliament.  We didn't go in because it was a little pricey.

A better picture of Big Ben.

Westminster Abbey.

A statue of Abraham Lincoln in Parliament Square Garden.

Artsy picture of Paul with Big Ben in the background.

Walking toward Buckingham Palace.

The changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace .. we couldn't see very much, it was packed, but kind of exciting anyway.

Trafalgar Square.

The Tower of London.

Day 11 - April 3

I am a little mad at myself for waiting so long to post these (almost two years).  There is so much more I would have said had I done it ...
